Valentina Colonna es investigadora Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie en la Universidad de Granada. En el marco de su beca postdoctoral (fellowship), financiada por la Uni\u00f3n Europea, es investigadora principal del proyecto \u00abVoices of Spanish Poets: Vocal Archive and Experimental Study on Poetry\u00bb. Su investigaci\u00f3n se concentra en el estudio experimental de la prosodia de la poes\u00eda, a trav\u00e9s de un enfoque interdisciplinario basado principalmente en la fon\u00e9tica experimental y en metodolog\u00edas psicoling\u00fc\u00edsticas, as\u00ed como en la conservaci\u00f3n y valoraci\u00f3n del patrimonio vocal de la poes\u00eda contempor\u00e1nea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Es doctor en Humanidades Digitales por las Universidad de G\u00e9nova (evaluaci\u00f3n: sobresaliente cum laude, Doctor Europaeus) y en 2022 public\u00f3, gracias a un premio de la Universidad de Tur\u00edn (Dep. of Foreign Languages and Cultures), su primera monograf\u00eda acad\u00e9mica titulada \u00abVoices of Italian Poets: Storia e analisi fonetica della lettura della poesia italiana del Novecento\u00bb (Edizioni Dell\u2019Orso), que incluye parte de su tesis doctoral y la metodolog\u00eda desarrollada para el estudio fon\u00e9tico de la poes\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is the scientific director, together with Antonio Romano, of the research project Voices of Italian Poets (VIP) at the University of Turin, the first vocal archive and experimental phonetic study of the voices of Italian poets, launched in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her linguistic research has mainly focused on the phonetic study of 20th century and contemporary poetry, with particular emphasis on Italian, Spanish, English and invented languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is also a poet, composer and pianist. She has published three books of poetry, three piano singles and an album, and her texts have been translated into sixteen countries. After obtaining her Master\u2019s degree in piano, she specialised in Baroque repertoire at the Escola Superior de M\u00fasica de Catalunya (ESMUC) in Barcelona, where she obtained a Master\u2019s degree in Early Music Performance in collaboration with the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB). She has edited and translated into Italian the first Italian anthology of \u00c1ngeles Mora (AnimaMundi), published with the support of the Spanish Cultural Action (AC\/E).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
