Francisca Serrano

Senior Lecturer at the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology, University of Granada, researcher at the Mind, Brain and Behaviour Research Centre (CIMCYC – UGR), and Head of the Research Group - Reading &Writing in Spanish - with research and teaching focus in language acquisition and difficulties (assessment and intervention). 

Currently, Director for Internationalization for Postgraduate Studies at the UGR. Researcher in international research networks, like 2 Erasmus+KA2 action projects: TEACH (2014-2016) and REFLECT (2019-2022) and specific projects seeking for educational inclusion (South Africa, Colombia, Argentina, Guatemala; in Spain, UGR Solidaria).

Publications since 2010: 27 papers (18 WoS JCR); 7 books; 11 book chapters and 3 recent Ph.D. Thesis, all related with dyslexia, assessment, intervention and inclusion. Noteworthy scientific transfer activities (probono) as clinical and educational psychologist at the UGR Psychology Clinic (head of the Assessment and intervention in learning disabilities program); collaborator with prestigious specialized Publishing Houses developing psychoeducational resources, and expert counsellor in Dyslexia Associations in Spain. Received the Award-Recognition of outstanding scientific work in the field of Dyslexia in 2018.
